Kroger Double Coupon Week

My best run thus far. Kroger was running a special for buy 10 of certain items (mix and match)and get $5 off. On top of that it was a double coupon week up to $1. Sorry but the break down of my deal is not going to be as detailed because I have too much stuff! Here's what I got:

10 Amp Energy Drinks (they were buy 10 at $1 each and get a $10 gift card)
2 Stayfree
4 Kotex
4 brownie mixes
4 Quaker oat chewy granola
3 Keebler Fudge stripe cookies
5 boxes of Kleenex
5 assorted brands of toothpaste
3 Speed sticks

My kroger limited to 3 of the same coupon, so it could have been better, but I'm still happy. I also had a man give me a couple coupons while I was in the tampon isle (brave!). One was for $4 off on health and beauty which I was able to use. My grand total was

Before Coupons/Kroger Card: 107.54
After coupons: 16.54 plus a $10 gift card, $1 of that is deposit on the Amp cans so out of pocket = $5.54

Kmart Double Coupon Week

Double coupons are some kind of awesomeness. Kmart doubled any of my coupons (valued at $2 and below) so that I could get a great deal. My total would have been 2 dollars cheaper had my one coupon doubled that didn't for some reason.

Vaseline Lotion $3.00 -> double $1.50Q = Free
2 Skintimate Shave gels $1.99 each -> 2 double $1Q = free
Axe Shower Gel $4.89 -> $2.00Q (didn't double) = 2.89
WD-40 $3.29 -> double 1.50Q = .29
Cat Treats 1.79 -> double $1 Q = Free
Pledge Hair Sweeper $4.49 -> Double $2Q = .49
Quantum Dishwasher soap 4.00 -> Double $1.50Q = 1
2 Playtex gloves $3.38 ->2 double $1Q = Free

Before coupons/Value: $28.82
Total paid: $5.79 (tax included of $1.12)

Unfortunately, I didn't get the overage that I normally would for when the coupon is worth more than the product. It would have made my total a lot less. Also, I apologize that the picture is missing a few items as I had already started to use them :)

My First Run!

This was my first time trying out my couponing skills. I went to Walgreens. My purchase was:
4 Got2Be Glued Hair products $6.29 on sale $2.99 each
2 Old Spice body/hair wash $5.29 on sale $3.00 each

I had 4 $2 Mq and a $2 Walgreens Q which takes off $2 off each one giving me an overage that paid my tax and for one bottle of the body wash. I had to purchase the second one to keep from being negative :)

Value of products: $35.74
Before Coupons: $19.08
After Coupons: $3.03 (including tax)
